It’s a dark and stormy night and you are walking alone through a forest full of tightly packed trees, where the moon light barely penetrates. You stop in a clearing, lost you look around in search of a way out all you see is an eerie pathway leading deeper into the forest, it starts to rain and a thick mist falls making it very hard to see. You are suddenly aware of two sets of footsteps walking quietly towards you, you panic and run down the pathway, the footsteps follow you and get faster until they are a continuous beat on the wet forest floor. You turn as they sound right behind you and see nothing; you listen and don't hear anything. You sigh with relief and turn around to continue on with your journey, wondering why you thought you had heard footsteps, and you are faced with two strange beings. On one side of the path is an oversized grey wolf, he has long, glistening white fangs and claws, that are as sharp as daggers, and huge paws that could crush you. On the other side is the most beautiful girl you have ever seen, she has silky blonde hair, sapphire blue colour eyes and is very graceful even when standing still, you sense that she is much more than she seems. You take a step back, frightened and stutter
''W-w-who are you?!''
The wolf growls low in response. The girl glares at the wolf and steps forward and speaks.
''I am Mariah...''
You are mesmerised by her voice, it is as soft as velvet and yet menacing. Mariah looks at the wolf with dislike.
''He is Josh''
Josh snarls at her and snaps his jaws loudly, the sound echoes through the forest, he turns and pads away farther into the forest, he returns a moment later as a human and you realise that you have entered the world of fairytales and nightmares. You look at them in shock as they greet each other.
Mariah: ''Dog''
Josh: ''Blood-sucker''
You then realise what they are as Mariah bares her teeth at Josh, and they are sharp and how Josh changed from a wolf to a human, you gasp, and they turn and speak together.
''Which side will you choose?''
