Fragment 1

It looked like the ship was coming into the orbit of planet 42. Slowly the black space around the planet was swallowed by the growing red ball in front of the ship. Then the red surface stopped to be round and filled up all that could be seen from the given perspective. Clouds became more visible. They drifted around like small lines of wollen. Blue spots must be water. Then mountain ridges, contoured by the black and brown shadowes they cast on the ground.
The colony ship Aurora flew straight on, machine's power stered it in it's determined destination. There was not a sound. It was utterly silent on board. Maybe, if anything or anyone would have been alive, he or she or it would have recognized a low humming sound. If the subject of concern would have been a human being, it would have heard only a very slight humming similar to that of an arconditioner.
The Aurora was probably one of the most masterfully designed space ships ever produced by human brains on planet Earth, back there in the old solar system. It was considered one of the world's wonders of human civilization and it was even awarded a l price back then. Back then it had been the 33th ship build on the old motherplanet. Home planet earth.
The ship was about as big as two Pyramids. Two times the one from Gizeh. In other words: It was huge. Many of the materials were so rare on earth that they had to be taken from orther planets. Nonetheless, the ship had been finished relatively quick, in about 50 years. The crew on board consisted mostly of robots. The records do not say how many. But it were a lot. There were also around 50 humans, and, surprisingly, a few hundreds of animals of all kinds. It was planed to be some sort of arch of Noah. Actually, thats was one of the ship many unofficial names.
The ship was shaking. It had allready taken some tremors before, but now any unsecured crew would endure problems with standing straight. Also, forces started to work on the huge insect-like hull of the ship, turning it into an ever brigther glowing red. The speed of the ship seemed to increase with the increase of all that motion, but in fact it was gradually slowing down.
Planet 42 Mountains and landscapes started to come evercloser. Enormous orange-golden forest, yellow- golden planes and brightly blue waters came into sight and grew bigger with an alarming rate. Various parts of the huge ships machinery started to fall of. They sprang of the mothership and exploded like a shower of fireflies in the air, flying away in all kinds of directions behind the ship.
Then the front thrusters turned white with heat and pushed against the planets titanic gravitational powers. An enormous blaze of white blue spread in front of the red-glowing and burning machine.
The ship lost speed. 50 meters before the colony ship hit the ground it suddenly reached a standstill in midear, putting the huge forest underneath on fire. The ship still glowed. Curiously, more and more parts kept jumping and flying away everywhere. They semeed to be all kinds of pods and other strangely-looking robots and machinery, maybe even supplies.

It's a really promising start
It's a really promising start.
I enjoyed it and would be intrigued if it continued.
I would recommend a proof-read, though. I'm guessing English is not your first language, so maybe ask someone to read it for you to check for errors.
Just an idea.
It doesn't bother me, but some people find spelling mistakes and grammatical errors a distraction.
Good work though, sir. I liked it.

Welcome to ABCtales! I agree
Welcome to ABCtales! I agree with Ian - this is an interesting start but iron out the errors.
