Hot's First Year. Episode 6.

At seven the next morning, my dorm-mates and I got dresses and made our way down to the Great Hall for breakfast. We all sat at a table which had seven free seats so we could all sit together. Already there was our breakfast, a nice, steaming cup of tea, and a fry-up, which included bacon, tomatoes, eggs, toast, beans and sausages. I made up my mind to leave the bacon and tomatoes though.
“What do you think our first day will be like?” asked Red Star.
“Gloomy,” answered Smoke. “I bet one of the teachers will ask me a question and I’ll mess it up.”
“Don’t be silly,” I said. “You’ll be fine.”
After breakfast, we all headed for Miss Burnout’s classroom. Yet again we seated
ourselves so I sat at a desk with Red Star and the twins, with the others sat behind us.
Miss Burnout was already sat at her desk, waiting for us. It looked like we were the last to join.
“Good morning, girls,” she smiled. “And welcome to your first year at 99% Wicked School. I hope you have a good year here, and that you learn something. In a minute, I shall be giving you all a timetable, and over the next year, you will all be attending those lessons. You will be learning things like how to ride a pitchfork and how to make fires. But you will also be learning about our history and the different types of Devil cultures there are.” At this point, Miss Burnout stood up, picked up a pile of books and walked around the room, handing a book out to each pupil.
“This booklet contains your timetable for the next year. Make sure you attend all of these lessons and learn something from each of them.”
“Nah, I’ll just fall asleep, thanks,” said Red Star. I smiled.
Miss Burnout had stopped talking. “Well, what are you waiting for? Open your booklets and look at your timetables.”
