Its 7.43, I have been up since just after 6.15 and for a complete
change I had some considerably better dreams than the rubbish I had to
put up with earlier in the week. I was having tea with some friends and
we were all sitting round the table having fish fingers and chips. And
earlier a couple of mates and I sat and watched tv and for some reason
I had just made friends with them, and there was a girl who worked in
Woolworths and she wrote for their in house magazine, and thought she
had a scoop with Boy George, but I had seen some other reporters
earlier talking to him so I told her, and she was quite annoyed. We
were watching a local band and we were friends.
Longhair and Tabby sat next to each other this morning eating
breakfast, and Tabby wasnt that bothered about the food. I think he
likes Longhair but always has to make sure he knows he is the
boss.
Yesterday (08) was much the same as any other day. Till lunchtime, when
I tried to ring Erin, but what I didnt know was that she had left the
phone at home. Then I finished up my work and the tasks I had left to
do, and escaped at 4pm. I am on holiday now, at last!
I got in, played the guitar, and then went online, I wanted to talk to
somebody and I was able to talk to Kit. Kit was about to whizz off
somewhere, but she stopped to quickly chat with me.
Then I chatted to another friend for a long time, my wife got back from
work - she had been to London.
We had tea and I watched a bit of tv that was on, before I went online
once more, and talked with Erin, and everything was okay. We talked
about writing mostly and the new Chilli Peppers album. I had written
another short story, which is very short and moves too fast I was told.
I guess this was because it started out as a one scene thing to post on
UKA, but the characters came to life as I described them. Dana is a
goth girl, Trestan is a vampire and Reinhardt is a vampire slayer,
maybe. Trestan and Reinhardt come from Neverwhere a place just around
the corner of your eye.
I ran out of cigarettes in the early evening and smoked a couple of
rollups using the tobacco I had in a tin I had bought on Monday. I like
chatting to people.
Life is not like the movies, none of us have the script to see what
happens next.
I would rather be happy than sad. I dont like being upset, it's not
much fun. For a while yesterday I thought I was broken but I am better
now. I am listening to Blink 182, and I think the CD has a problem on
it, as it skips and repeats bits of songs on tracks 12 and 13. I will
get another copy, as I like it. They are a bit like Green Day, but with
an edge.
I was going to get a marine cut haircut, which I describe as grade 6 on
top and grade 2 at the sides, but my wife thought it would look pants,
so I may have my usual 6 and 4. I may go to Camden tomorrow and have a
look round.
