I woke up later, around 9am, as I was tired, yesterday (07). The
cats were waiting for breakfast so I let them wait for a bit, sometimes
if I feed Tabby too quickly after he has got up, he gets excited and
throws up afterwards. I went on line and found out that the tickets
will have to be paid by cheque (?403) and of course I have zilch in my
account which means the money I owe the bank ahem will go up a little
bit more. Still its chaper than going to Ireland for the week, which is
what I had been planning to do, so instead I shall get a skip and throw
my past into it maybe, if I am able to.
I messaged ... then rang them. Just to see how they got on last night
and all that. And of course I was still on the phone when my wife came
back from swimming. I think phone calls need to be private sometimes,
unless you are with strangers on a tube or something.
I went on the board and created a new set of stuff just for fun. Then
read the forum and saw what was new. I see that Jay and Stephen are
still talking to each other and I thought of a caption: Jay says to
Stephen "Do you think we will ever escape this picture?" and Stephen
replies "I know, we've been trapped here for four days and I am getting
worried we will be here forever together, in this picture." which in a
sense they would be. Any photograph captures an image fixed in time and
space. It may be a picture of a scene or of people. We take pictures to
remember the time we took the picture, as a permanent record, and
though things may change, the picture remains the same.
A little later in the morning we drive to Leigh and have a coffee in
Vie, I buy a magazine in the newsagents along with cigarettes, and the
latte I have is actually okay for a change. Sometimes we have been in
there and it has taken ages to get served if they are busy. We decide
to see the new Tom Cruise flick "Minority Report" at the Odeon in
Southend. I read an artcile about the film, which is based on a Phil
Dick story.
We drive home, and have lunch. I spend a long time in chat again with
... and try some colours. The results are quite astonishing. We seem to
be able to communicate colours to each other. Weird. Just by thought
alone. I wonder if telepathy is really possible. If it was how would we
cope? Would we be able to erect mental barriers to protect our
innermost thoughts? Would it be like having to tune into somebody's
mind first?
Then we got the pictures and see the film, which is very good. I post a
short item about it when I get back on the forum. Then I am talking to
... about Reading and some other stuff. We seem to get along
fine.
Later I watch Big Brother, and see what happens when Adele was evicted.
We also see Tim cry in the diary room. It seems highly personal and I
think we shouldn't see this. I can relate to how he might feel right
then. The word is choked.
For my tea I had a sausage sandwich and some toast. Then I went back in
chat for a bit. Before I logged off and went to bed.
Today was quite dull and grey, with occasional sunshine, especially in
the afternoon. The weather was okay as well.
I listened to the Oasis album a lot this evening. It may have been
panned by critics but I like it.
