I choose to write a thousand dreams
And ride upon them ride
Disrupted by the rising sun
I weep my lonely eyes
I choose to walk a thorn-ed path
With misery and disgrace,
I wish to a stranger come
and bless my unholy face
I choose to false the only truth
with pride I walk the path
Saddened by an orphaned past
I knew it had no last.
I choose to dream a life gone by
With happiness and joy
Where a Mother cooked and Pa looked on
And I moved around my toy.
I choose, I choose but lonely still
Stand alone in crowd
I wish I chose a better fate
Than two of them enshroud

Hello imran... A lot of deep thought here. Very interesting and enjoyable, especially the first two lines of stanza three. Keep writing. Richard LP
