ONE day the moon will not be wild
or SMALL and seeming very far away;
for any STEP we take, the distant door
gets closer FOR our feet to tread one day;
bright silver of A many-cratered world
where never any MAN has stood before.
ONE night the moon will be a home
as GIANT spires above fair cities rise;
a lofty LEAP onto a smaller sphere -
an archway FOR past centuries to guide
the pathways of MANKIND through darker skies.

This is not only clever but beautifully written Indrani. Took me back to the night of the moon landing when I was a atudent and David Bowie was Ziggy Stardust!

Weird Indrani, and I am part way through a series of stories which will include an account of what I was doing on the moon landing night in 1969!
