The leaves are singing,
Golden notes ringing out across starstruck mirrors
Pooling.
Ripples escaping their translucent bonds,
Reaching out to a foundering shore,
Eyes sparkling from secret caves
Blink.
Eyes staring up
Ensnared by emerald tentacles.
Enthralled you delve into the depths
Run the silk through your fingers, tingling.
And then you are gone.

Hi InspiredWriter,
Oh how wonderful, I really adore this poem, it's so
good to read something right up my street.
Well done.
Jenny.
