She stretches out on the bed, gown untied!
Joints ratchet. Her leg overshadows North Greenwich,
her heel nudges Sandwich out to sea
and scrunching her toes, she causes bear-sized waves
to slap the coast of Brittany.
There is a blizzard of bubbles
as she swirls her fizzy lolly
in a lake of cider near Keswick.
Her hair, splayed out, covers a great range of dialects,
North Welsh to sand-dancer.
The Thames is crushed to a muddy bowl as her hips roll.
She stretches out on the bed, gown untied!
Sugar hems her lips.
