Between the Lines

No words or thoughts as silence takes hold,
Life stands still, now, for a moment,
Ideas, beliefs, intersperse into one,
But for another time, when light is sprung
.
You listen to the air, feel it sigh,
An entire world to breathe and yet,
Here it settles on you. A smile is born,
But not your own, it is life looking back
.
Feet move but cannot run, there is,
Time now to explore, learn, and
In the purest singularity, you open
Your mind, though nothing enters in
.
The slightest touch appears oddest here,
A heartstring plucked reverberates as
Desire meets its honest sanctity,
Plain is attraction, now in primal form
.
You wander without thought, both
In body and mind, now separate
Beings, you realise, two souls,
Bound unseen and unknown together
.
A mist soon forms, spreading wide,
It covers the world, and now sheds
Shadow once more on wonders,
Your eyes open, but you are once more blind

I like the idea of a heart
I like the idea of a heart string being plucked.
