Spider Webs

Looking out onto the night,
small strands glint between the light.
Soft and fragile to the touch,
using my hand as a crutch.
Fast and agile it weaves through,
between my fingers a picture it drew.
Hope and love with no fear of me,
I saw something I thought I'd never see.
The smallest of creatures did not fear,
even after I removed it from off my ear.
It started again, more peaceful and slow,
the web it spun began to show.
Leaving it alone to it's work,
I know now that life is a quirk.
Odds and ends show up on random,
it seems things will happen in tandem.
Know this now above all things,
no matter what, love all that life brings.
For a creature so tiny can show you life,
can show you hope and forget all strife.
