A Coalition Ode.

Now we have a coalition,
with our Dave and Nick.
Change will come, but slowly,
There won't be nothing quick.

A coalition's like a marriage,
with lots of give and take.
That means that no one party
can swallow all the cake

So compromise just has to be
the rule for every day.
Then things get done more easily.
Then everyone will play.

The road ahead is cobbled,
and full of potholes deep,
which must be filled in firmly
without a price too steep.

So everyone together
can hold their heads on high,
the heads of state must pull their weight,
don't let the chance go by

So off we go, Orange and Blue,
the future is all yours.
So do your best, for all of us
who live within your shores.
