A MIGRANT'S THOUGHTS.

Here I am sitting in Calais
My friends are holed up in Greece
My problem is mud and more mud
Their's is barbed wire and Police.
We can't all get into UK
It's an island and not very great.
So some of us must go elsewhere,
But quick before it's too late
This Europe we've heard of is naf
No one is welcoming us
Some of us want to go back
But Europe is making a fuss.
Greece can't pay to look after us,
Italy, almost the same.
Now others are all building fences;
I wonder, do they think it's a game?
There are bad people among us it's true.
They are after our money no doubt.
But we're caught very tight in this trap
So we pay, very dear, to get out.
Great nations stand by doing nothing
While things go on getting worse
We struggle to keep ourselves going
Great nations take care of their purse.
We'd love to live somewhere that's safe,
But will we ever arrive?
Our courage is great but moral's very low
We hope we can still stay alive!!
For those criminals hiding among us
Our contempt does know no bounds.
Their only interest in us, it seems
Is making lots more pounds!!
So, politicians everywhere
Get going, we implore!!
For things are getting out of hand
And we can't take much more!!

A lot in here, and neatly
A lot in here, and neatly told. Seem to be many trying to find solutions in governments too, though maybe there are those also unwilling or truly uncertain of what is safely possible
Some of us want to go back highlights the desperate need of safe resolutions back there. Rhiannon
