WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??

We've had enough, can't take no more
The powers that be have lost the plot!!
Important things don't get attention,
But marriage for all just wins the pot.

But wages, pensions, homes and care,
Don't weigh heavily with Dave and Nick.
They'd rather deal with things benign,
For heavy matters make them sick!!

Holidays for Parliament weigh heavy, ain't it so?
Nero and Rome we have recalled.
But problems arrive, very fast, just like that!
The reply leaves us all just appalled.

Scandals happen from time to time
Keeping them hidden doesn't bode well.
Let light throw peace, or not, let's see,
For silence doesn't ring our bell!

With Europe wanting lots more power
We need to have a firm position.
But, maybe, when or we'll decide
Don't help the coalition!

Mr. Average who pays his way
Has lost his faith in the direction.
He knows not where the furure leads.
The pilots really need correction.

To keep the English boat afloat
The people need a Captain - firm.
Not someone, if or but, or maybe.
But one who wants to last the term!

So D. and N. look out, beware
The people have had quite enough.
So, get it together, think of us,
Or else we'll vote "Not up to snuff".
