Chocolate
Melting in my mouth,
Smoothing down my senses
Until I'm
Halfway to heaven,
My hips halfway to hell -
The dieting's forgotten,
But it's creamy, thick, sweet and
Oh, soooooo good!
It's been too long...
Yes, I was wrong to make
Those promises to the scales,
The scales that tomorrow I might break
With my extra pounds.
I could swim in it -
A melted lake, and swallow it
By the bucketful but
I've only got one bar, one!
And I'm dipping it in my cup of tea
To make it melt,
Then putting it in my mouth
And it's
Smoothing down my senses
So I've only taste, not smell,
Nor sight, nor sound,
And in that sweet, sweet bliss
Quietly I revel,
Quietly I drown.
