If you worship at my temple,
I will welcome you to my flock;
If you seek repentance,
I will grant it to you by the book;
If you kneel and pray,
I will help you to find peace;
If you sit at my feet,
I will feed your ignorance;
If you subscribe to my word,
I will tell you it’s the word of God;
If you believe in what you’ve heard,
You’re a malleable sod;
If you prostrate yourself at my altar,
I will help you up, sinner;
If you bring your chequebook
Consider yourself forgiven.
