Heavy
I've got a weight of fears
Resting on my shoulders
I've got a bag of childhood dreams
Weighing me down now that I'm older
I've got pressure from all angles
My spine's about to crack
I've got responsibilities
Holding me back
I've got a box of broken promises
And pieces of my heart
I've got a balance full of losses
Lies tearing me apart
I've got a rucksack of ambitions
But I don't know where to start
It's all too heavy
They should warn you as a child
To muscle up
So you can carry all these heavy things
When you grow up
Because, try as you might
You cannot put them down
You're drowning in survival
Drowning...drowning...drowned.
