Sensory Enrichment (8th May 2008, 2.31pm)

light inside senses going blind
simple type of madness infiltrates
silence and mind-shapes escalate
lying on backs blind to that which
lies around unable to feel the ground
metaphorical time is sound and sound
is liquid washing clean the mindscapes
breathing in the smell of silence
breathing out sound-waves one by one
sweet on my tongue the taste of quietness
and sun shine the buzz of the afternoon
melts like chocolate in my ears too soon
and touch returns like electric fences
roping off the brain escalates dementia
time like a sourness in my nose as
the light grows stronger into blindness
