Words (26th August, 2011)
I can’t promise you anything but words:
Of those, I have an endless supply;
They come, they press, they beg to be
Upon my screen, out of my mind.
I find I have a way with words, but not
A way with love. If I could write my hero
On the page, bring him to life, I would.
But words won’t keep me satisfied,
They will not make me glow; words
Are not, in the end, alive, so what have
I got to show? I have a thousand poems
Or more, I have a book or two; I have
Short stories, lyrics, rhymes, and yet,
I’m still alone. Until my words move you.

An ancient theme Jennifer. Still I like it, at least right up to the last line. Now, I am no poet, but do you think that there might be another way of putting it?

Like the way you express
all different feelings and thoughts
of words. But certainly your word's
and poems move, me a great writer and poet.
Can never really be alone, the word's of everything
in life's dealings and categories, roll of the tip
of the tongue! typing, writing, and the pen and mind
all interlope and entwine! with love, romance, hope,
music and all things devine. You have it talent.
Great meeting you, ah! by the photo of t.v.
Read so well.
By the way, think our cherry! chains, superb, may be
too long, clip thick, to go in little chains shorten.
So could get a black velvet ribbon or what slide through or another shorter chain.
The mention of black velvet band, comes from song.
"With her hair tied over her shoulder
You would think she was was
Queen of the land
Tied up with a black velvet band.
Always singing it at home too.
Who! can't remember.
Music day groups we all sung.
have a good day. See you November hope.
I do love your "Jennifer-Pick-Up story on
Red Dress and Bench was it way back, Make a
beautiful film, put you in couldn;t they!
