Don't look down
To sticky pavements,
To failure, disillusionment and feet,

Don't look up
To starry skies
And hopes and dreams beyond your reach,

Look straight ahead,
Else you'll walk into lampposts
And hurt your head.

Common sense, with which it's hard to disagree&;#8230;
I think I'll look up, and bear in mind
That there are lampposts out to get me.
