Summer nights
These hot summer days.
These summer’s, super hot bright,
middle of July hell heat wave makes,
for the sake, to bake the body and
melt it like ice-cream cake.
When winds fly by,
a kite can be spotted up height,
on a hot July heat tide.
The wind makes the sight of the kite,
up in the sky, looked high.
Then the night comes crashing with a might.
Firebugs come out and light.
Stars up in the night gleaming life and darkness guide.
The heat has died,
groups gather, something smells quite right
and elevated laughter feels the psyched,
right through the summer nights.

I really like this poem. This poem gave me the taste of summer. I can't wait for the heat waves. Haha. I love catching the fire bugs when they come out. Nice poem. Keep it up. :)
