When I'm Playing Leader

Now I'm a politician, they call me Honest John
Two Jags in my driveway but my reputation's gone
Now it's a job that suits me
A politician you would be
If you got free what I get free
When I'm playing cowboy
Punching voters on the chin
You should see them fall and spin
To your surprise I always win
Deputy of Nothing
In my profession I get perks
On each and every day
I've got no real department
But they pay me anyway
The secretary she looks divine
I'll have some pork chops with my wine
Now Tony's gone the country's mine
When I'm playing Leader
My mallet hits my croquet ball
Chairing meetings never palls
Getting paid to do sod all
When I'm playing Leader.
When I'm playing Leader
