Finding My Way Back

In a world so full of hate,

I aspire to be something bright,

Shards of anger impale me

I feel as if I am falling

I no longer know where to go.

My rights and lefts are contorted,

I am so lost.

I am unnerved by everything,

Everything lunges toward me,

I fall back... scared.

I fall into a light

I can see now,

Everything becomes so visible.

Nothing scares me.

I can see all negative feelings and emotions,

They are not tangible beings.

I break through them all.

It's  so easy to do.

Why didn't I do it before?

I am protected now.

I begin to fall away again,

I now begin to hate.

I am not scared, I am scary

People avoid me.

No one wants to talk to me,

Everyone just turns away.

I turn into the same person I was before

I begin to worry.

I need people more that I thought.

I feel powerless after all.

I make my way back,

It is the liveliest I have ever felt.

People love me,

I can feel love.

People can feel my love.

People trust me,

I trust myself.

It's a nice feeling,

The feeling of God.
