Dean's Decline

DEAN'S DECLINE
Dean is on the decline now,
his mind often goes blank.
People sometimes wonder how
He got to run a bank.

Some days Dean misses his meals,
and goes to bed quite late.
How did he ever do deals,
or put food on his plate?

Dean took his dog a-strolling,
across a busy street,
A big truck came a-rolling,
and knocked them into a heap.

Dean heard that his dog was dead,
but he appeared quite pleased,
He just smiled and shook his head.
Because of his Alzheimer's disease.

Dean's friends all wish him well,
so does his loving wife.
With love and care,
Dean can still remain in touch with life.
