seep
a jagged, early palette
pierced needle blue, bends
around the moon
flint fingers of lilac
haul back the night
as splintered gold, stirs
trees with backlight
minutes in blue, seep
patiently,
a gentle dissolve
pale dragged pink
and lemon rose
from the bent backed brow, rises
bright, the eye of the sky
stringing high,
blinking paper lanterns
of dawn
all, is alive

Ah - I thought you might have been one of the lucky people to have seen them here in England a week or so ago. I'm Suffolk and the local Facebook page was full of the most amazing photos the next day
