Special People
There are people ever among us
With a special style and grace.
And it seems to take no effort,
For they to assume their place.
The glow of a warmly winning smile
fluted with a soft and warm hello.
It is a very pleasant thing to do,
To bask within their glow.
They have a regal nature,
a quality of respected awe.
It is a simple dignity of carriage.
a bearing without a flaw.
Eyes sparkle in recognition,
as they enter into a room,
an acknowledgment of stature,
woven on a princely loom.
It doesn’t come with titlement,
or the easy grace of age.
It’s just a special something there,
Capitals on a written page.
When next you see someone
you think a noted celebrity
and ne’er again hear his name
a special someone he may yet be.
For it is a person who lives his life
with a natural sense of dignity.
For hes faced the fact of who he is
And found reason for humility.
