I dont know why ///
yet,
it is so true,
I am always afraid
of going out alone,
just like you, I ///
try //
to hide myself away,
even though
I know
I look like any
carefree human.
So I hide
behind a mask
and with pride
I wear it out
Noone knows me,
nobody sees in-
side ///
theres something
nonone wants to /
see //
and if they do /
just deny me. ///

This is very moving.People hide aspects of their personality so often but to me it never really seems to be mentioned, this is honest a little bit sad but a good read.

Years ago we could walk out

Years ago we could walk out our door, feel comfortable
about who we are, but it's so sad now that for some
people, do have to put on a mask, to be careful that
people don't see our failings or our individual ways.
When you are at home, you feel comfortable about being
yourself.
I think it's something to do with the Big Brother
theory. You don't know who is watching you on camara,
or if someone has got your picture on their camara.
I remember a time when you could say what you wanted,
but not anymore. Everyone is afraid, that's half the
problem. Well that's my opinion anyway.
I have probably started something here, oh well.
Anyway I had to much to say on this, but agree it's
a moving poem.
Jenny.
