Pacing past the window,
knowing you are out there
I wonder if you have forgotten me.
Am I somewhere in your conscience?
or just here looking at
all your pictures of her?
Whenever I am not there
I see you are on your phone.
You say you are just friends
& I dare not doubt you,
I know I would fall apart.
Holding it all in me
almost afraid to hold you
for further breaking
my heart.

I'm really glad you decided to post this one, Kahdai! I love its brutal honesty and as a reader you can really feel the narrator's pain. Well done on this beautiful poem ;)

Hi there, Kahdai. I enjoyed

Hi there, Kahdai. I enjoyed this...just a couple of minor points. End of line 4, do you mean 'consciousness'? And Line 9 - should be 'friends'.
As Magic says, this a beautiful poem. Well done;-)
