If I were of female persuasion
And perchance at some occasion,
Johnny Depp should grace the room
Would I stumble, would I swoon?
Would a blush creep up my face?
Would my pulse begin to race?
Would my heart go all aflutter?
My speech become a witless stutter?

If he then stood by my side
Would I wish to run and hide?
Or would I take this fleeting chance
To ask him of his life in France?
Would I ply him with my wiles
All fluttering eyes and winsome smiles?
Or knowing I'm no Keira Knightley
Would I think myself unsightly?

Would I? Would I? Would I what?
Of female persuasion I am not,
As such these questions are inapt
