SEASCAPE

The sea is softly sighing
Waves break upon the rock,
While in the sky above me
The crying seagulls flock.

The sun shines on the water
Warms the sand beneath my feet,
As I gaze out to the distance
Where the sky and ocean meet.

I see the blue of sea and sky
And the yellow of the sand,
The green and brown of plants above
Grey cliffs that ageless stand.

These sights and sounds surround me
Salt taste is on the breeze,
The sea fills all my senses
And sets my heart at ease.
