Mere Perfection

while youre counting your many virutes, dont forget to add humility
to the pile.
and while youre wondering wheter or not you look "desirable", try to
act indimidated by the eyes you hope are on you.
youre trying to paint of pretty portrait on your face, but the canvas
is flawed. no ugly, or ruined. but not perfect, so you might as well
use the broad brush, and the fine point is wasted here and youre
certainly not fooling me by pretending to fool yourself.
why cant you just be honest?
its not your fault of course.
you've been shown a poor example of what people should BE, as you've
been surrounded by the people that ARE.
the world is not good [enough], is not satisfactory. forget that and
you'll lose all.
