Avoiding myself

At my desk Im busy working 
My senses tingle and Im totaly distracted
I feel someone watching me
I look to the left where I feel the stare
There I see my face staring back at me
In the corner of my eye sits me 
Angrily watching me 

I hope I havent found myself yet
I know he wants to talk 
But I dont think im ready to have a conversation

Let me live in ignorance
Just a few moments longer
Let me finish this work that seems so important

I promise I will get back to you
Im not going to run away am I

Lets just avoid ourselves for a little bit longer
