Why are you hiding under the table?

Come out theres nothing to be afraid of its only a party.
What has got you so afraid?

“They see me for who I am not”
“They see me how I never thought I would be seen”
‘Their lifestyle is so different”
“Their ways nothing like mine”
“And they don’t even know me”
“But they’ve decided that they’ve seen me”
“They know my type”
“Be it black yellow or white”
“Be it good bad or strange”
“They think they’ve seen me”
“And I’m not for this!”
“I haven’t even seen myself”
“So how could they know me”
“But they’ve seen all my photos”
“And heard all the stories Ive told”
“They know the names of my friends”
“And the enemies I don’t talk to”
“But still”
“How could they claim they know me”
“Why would they.”
“So they can throw me out as quick as possible”
“So they can come closer to me in an attempt at acceptance”
“I don’t trust anyone who claims that”
“But its what I want the most out of life”
“To be seen”
“To be heard”
“To be understood”
“But once it happens I’m afraid”
“Not because I’l be rejected but yes that too”
“Not because I’l be accepted but thats a factor”
“It might be because it will simply happen”
“That I don’t have control over what you will see”
“And the choice you’ve made is out of my hands”
“Thats why I hide under this table tonight”
“Because I don’t want to be a choice in your matter of life”
