Rejection!

Rejection can be bitter sweet
You end up sweeping
The mistake under the mat.
You'd been hanging on to hear,
Every word of the person that,
Had rejected you.

The answer comes
And you feel hatred and sadness
You want to tell someone your woes,
But you can't, no one will listen,
To you, they are all filled with happiness.
Your tears glisten,
Down your face, your sadness
Swells up and out of you.

You think you will not recover -
From the rejection that you have had
So you go to your Mother,
She thinks you are bad
To have given bother.
But you always bounce back
From rejection!
