I lie
I'm bored
I ask myself
Why?
Why am i lying in this bed
A bandage round my eye
A cast on my foot
A plaster on my nose
the paint of these
Crummy walls
Are my new pass time
The beautiful dampness invades
My bored bored brain.
I seek the comfort of the ceiling
The pure white ceiling
Where i dream
Of the summer
Which i have missed.
My friends running
Across the beautiful Bude beaches
I have strayed a long way from those memories.
I remember the smell of the sand
The image of the clouds..
The beauty of the infinite sky.
