The heavy structure aching at the
weight of sweeping oars
to and fro
back n'forth
like a swing on a sunny day.
The river calm and steady, always the same,
nothing to be afraid of
but a challenge to climb up
Just like a slide on a sunny day.
The throne steady and high,
a careful look out on the grassy meadows
flustered followers climb the rockety stairs
to kiss the queens jewelled hand.
Like a tree house on a sunny day.
Weeds climb the abandoned climbing frame
four old onlookers stare at it.
"Oh what fun to have memories
when time had taken everything else away," they mumble
On a old sunny day.
