If I Were These

If I were a crocodile
I’d eat marshmallows
Not white fluffy poodles
Those poor little fellows.

If I were a zebra
I’d run on the plains
Out running the lions
And ruffle their manes.

If I were a giraffe
I’d eat from the trees
Avoiding low bushes
That might skin my knees.

If I were a hippo
I’d swim in a lake
And not wear a thong
For heaven’s sake!

If I were a monkey
I’d swing limb to limb
Eat lots of bananas
But still stay quite slim.

If I were an elephant
I’d drink lots of water
And spew it out
All over my father

If I were an aadvark

I'd eat all the ants

Making well sure

They stayed out of my pants!

If I were a rhino
I’d charge through the bushes
And knock all the natives
Onto their tushes.
