The sea and the sand
Are lovers
Gently they caress
The tide places its watery hand
Upon the sand’s moist breast
The sand is stirred
And joins the sea
In a joyful swirl
They intertwine so gracefully
In a lover’s curl
The sea it sighs
So blissfully
For its lover’s kiss
The sand it shifts tenderly
Taking in the mist
The sea and the sand
Are eternal
Never the two shall part
For together they make the rhythm
Of a lover’s heart

Hello L G Meadows,
what can I say? I'm almost lost for words.
I suppose it's because I'm sensitive, but tears
came to my eyes as I read this, it's so beautiful.
I really loved your description of the sea and the
sand together as one. Such a loving poem.
Thankyou for the read.
Jenny.

Ahh, LGM. What can I say,

What can I say, but...lovely.
I live overlooking the sea, just minutes to the beach.
ps
I need to walk with care next time on my barefoot walks in the sand.
