Elusive is the butterfly on
shimmering translucent wings,
She snatches the chance
to leave her nest.
In her fine, powdery dress
of iridescent hues
As the crysalis transforms
her lattice papyrus shell.
Transcending her spirit of
grace to be renewed,
A humble bug, reincarnated
to the belle of the summery ball.
As she whispers, the dusky petals
of the damask rose
reveal his lonely heart.
Her brief days are mustered
from warm essence and breezes,
with flight of fancy dancing
a pirouette through the exotic
gardens of summer.

magical.
