Poor Jonathon James always suffered from pains
As soon as he got near his classroom.
He would clutch at his ears in a rainstorm of tears
And would hide in the infant boys' bathroom.
When louder he bawled his mother was called
And once again came to remove him.
So she took him away that fateful last day
And decided herself to improve him.
So from dawn until night she would give no respite
Mrs. James, in her efforts to teach him.
And cry though he might, she went on with her fight
'till at last the words did seam to reach him.
Poor Jonathon James he had no fun and games
With the boys and the girls during playtime.
Though his books were all hated, he was well educated
But he had such a long lonely daytime.
So though school may be painful it is also quite gainful
And we soon learn to not miss our home.
For until the day ends we are there with our friends
And that's better than studying alone.
