Remember

I remember can you?
The misted days long ago
in spring when things were fresh and new
We are now in the summer
Heading towards our Autumn
the leaves turn brown the children chant
Winter is coming round the corner
i remember the laughs and praise
that would end us to ours days
i remember your smile
the cheeky grin possibly stolen from a child
you were mine and i was yours
and winter is here
but winter isn't here
we suddenly begin the summer again
the leaves are no longer brown
they are green, yellow and gold
the sun shines
its a joyous time
for we are destined to go forever in
our never ending remembering summer!
