Devolution

Forever changing times in an ever changing world,
I believe humanity has reached its peak for every boy and every girl,
Invention after invention eventually leading to “progression" replacing people with technology has left us in recession,
Society has began to lose its way for mainly financial gain,
Each an every one of us needs only a mirror to find out who’s to blame,
Evolution is complete so where do we go from here?
Unfortunately what was up is now down and what shall follow we should all fear,
Melting Ice caps, world disasters and over population are indicators of where were heading, complete devastation,
For what we need to do to change this fate should be clear for us to see
But because of devolution we lack the mental capacity.
