The air was clean and clear and Jack's horse paint shone,
The light was so bright she blinked and thought he was gone,
The only thing assuring her to that he was there,
Was the hoof in her hand to show him she cared,
She felt so very terrible about laughing at him before,
To make it up to him she would show him the way home to his very door,
The light broke off and all the green grass lands were showing wildly,
They both took a sight in their lungs that felt mildly¦
¦like the summer in Britain maybe a sure winters eve,
Reminding Karen of her real father, Steve,
She had seen him last winter till he the left the city flat,
No postcards, no telephone calls, simply none of that,
Anyway! Never mind! She courageously thought,
You can't buy your parents and your parents can't be bought,
"Come over here Karen! I've seen something in the water so weird!
Jack would announce, a horse not a steer,
Karen emerged from the bad thoughts of years gone past,
To see this weird thing sticking out of the water¦that looked like a ship mast,
"Well what is this? Karen revealed,
"Well let's give it a tug and see what it means.
They both grabbed the mast and gave it a yank,
The mast felt like wool not as hard as a plank,
And bent right over in their hands,
"What are you doing??!!??! A voice did demand,
Jack and Karen swung around in fright,
To see a rather large frog holding a knitting kit in his might,
"That mast you just broke is part of our ship!
"But that means the ships underwater¦
"Yes and now it is ripped!
"Ripped? Jack fathomed
"Well it is made out of wool!
"Wool? Karen laughed "You take me for a fool?
"What I will take u for is a ride of your life!
Karen then said to him "I've suffered so much strife!
"To prove to you my serious quest I'll fill you in on the past.
"Well seeing as a trip is our quest we are sorry about the mast!
