z.Scene 10

Scene 10- In an old street, 2 people are sat down on the street. They are homeless. Eva knows them, she walks up to them and sits down.

Liv- Any news?

Eva- great news!

Haz- has this got anything to do with the chippy giving away free scraps!

Eva- No actually, it’s even better!

Liv- Spit it out then!

Eva- The prophecy, it’s coming true, it’s happening and were blessed to see them, and I’m blessed to meet them!

(Liv and Haz gasp)

Haz- Are you serious?

Eva- yes, a boy and a girl wanting to be onstage actors, trying to get the old laws back!

Haz- this is great, we can finally get what we deserve.

Eva- Yes, freedom to act wherever we want.

Liv- and get those beautiful play houses back.

Haz- oh I’m so excited!

Eva- i know!

Liv- we’ve waited a long time for this.

Haz- yeah, let’s just hope they don’t mess it up.

Eva- I’m sure they won’t. I mean what we got to lose, nothing.

Liv- our dignity!

Haz- look at us, living on the streets, we have no dignity!

Eva- strangely enough, he’s right, we have no dignity!

Liv- well, sorry for bringing a little happiness into the conversation.

Haz- It’s ok Liv, you’re forgiven.

Liv- what?

Eva- come on let’s not fight!

Liv- well what did you say to them!

Haz- who?

Liv- (sigh) the people from the prophecy!

Eva- not that much, just told them what to do and where to go!

Haz- Eva! They were supposed to work it out themselves!

Eva- oops!

Liv- well at least they’ve got more of a chance now!

Haz- Oh so some strange person just walks up and tells them that to bring back the acting you have to go to last playhouse left on Earth, which we are so fortunate to have in our own country, it’s in Leeds!

Liv- well you don’t have to say it like that!

(A sheet of paper flies on)

Eva- (looking at the sheet) oh no!

Haz- what’s happened?! Liv!

Liv- Haz!

Eva- this is them, the two from the prophecy!

Haz- but who ratted them out!

Liv- i don’t know but we best watch our backs just in case anything does happen!

Eva- don’t be stupid, it’s just because, Scarlet was in Elsa’s mental hospital and left then there’s Gavin who should be arrested. Actually both of them are getting arrested!

Liv- yes, cos that helps!

Haz- so what do we do?

Eva- well we’ll just have to hope and pray that they get it done.

Liv- yeah!
