Once again I'm not the one you want babe,
Me getting my hopes up only for them to be smashed down.
You where never supposed to find out babe,
I would have kept it from you and the world,
Because all I want is to see is you happy babe.

I know I'm not the one you want babe, 
Knew it from the start but carried it on,
I don't want to mess up what we already got,
Because I have done in the past,
But never really learnt from my foolish actions.

I don't really know what to do babe,
I love you and miss you,
So I promise you that I will stop hurting you like this,
I'm so sorry babe, I'm so very sorry.

Sometimes it is better to end it than drag out the pain, it's nice to see other guys who care about the happieness of the girls they are with wether that means giving them up, i feel we are all stereotype as the bad guy far to quick. Lovely poem

Very true Andrew I would rather see any of my friends happy than in any pain I may have caused. Sometimes that is the case mate but some guys out there give men a bad name so its swings and roundabouts to be honest mate. Glad you liked the poem. Lennie
