Love is pure.
A bond that is so strong, so magnificent,
It can bring the most unlikely people together,
By the will of cupid and his arrows.
So When Love Comes Knocking at your door,
Follow your heart.
Love is beautiful.
The sweet reminiscing of the good times shared,
Brings warmth and delight to the heart.
People never wanted to leave there loved ones,
Wanting to spend every minute of their life with them.
So When Love Comes Knocking at your door,
Enjoy it to the full.
Love is like no other.
Unique in its own way, yet very unpredictable.
Everyone should experience love in their life,
When you do that’s the day you can say “I have truly lived”.
So When Love Comes Knocking at your door.
Never let it go.

M favorite line was this

Only thing that I can see and this is just my opinion.
In the 3rd verse
"Love is like no other.
Unique in itself, and sometimes unpredictable"
It's good but if I was you I would change it to something like this
Unique in its own way, yet very unpredictable
That's just my opinon, but if you leve it,It's still fine.

we had a boat or ferry up
river past Bishops
Palace mounted the
steps tea worried boat would't

How about ...
Love is blind. Tough love. Love kills. Crimes of passion. Love breaks hearts - ends lives - people die - suicide.
Love does not mean you have truly lived - it only means you have experienced love. Ask a vietnam vet or Lucy Partington.
But in poetry, love is a safe topic and some will set aside everything for those words that rekindle a second's memory.
The love of Fred and Rosemary, Myra and Ian - run like the f'in clappers ;-)
Having read your previous work Lennie, I think I would, perhaps selfishly, like to see your antithesis piece to this. I think they could go well together. It could be ...well ... love ;-) lol
