Innocence Lost
The window of innocence has grown so small,
until there is no innocence at all.
Families spread across the nation,
do nothing to ease the mounting frustration.
A shrinking moral fiber and ethics all but gone.
You'd think on some this would begin to dawn.
Throw in a growing disrespect for authority,
you're beginning to see the relative majority.
No longer accepting the responsibility for our actions,
seems to be the choice of declining factions.
It's easier to point the finger of blame,
at those from whom we gained our name.
Society seems to have run amuck.
To the young children now, I wish them luck.
