She is her own woman, of that you can be sure
She is neither docile nor demure
Self assured and full of vigor
And could her heart be any bigger
She comforted me when I was a child
Her manner loving all the while
I could always count on her to be there
She would handle it all with great care
To top it off she's smart as a tack
A sense of humor she doesn't lack
A fashion sense right with the times
I wonder what she'd think if she were reading these lines
Here ego is not over inflated
Her advice is never dated
She's a one of a kind
I'm so happy I can call her mine
She is my mother.
