A Moment to Be Real

I want a moment to be real.

Want to have a moment which has meaning
For me, not just the world around me.
I want something real.
I want you to tell me, in words,
How the world turns. Whisper to me
That the trees are green to bring out
My eyes, the sky is blue to make me smile.
I loose my way in silence, I find it hard
To shout for you. Please, lean closer,
Please try to hear me. I can only whisper,
In a world where you have to scream.
Its not only me, but everyone else around me.
I pause, and I’m swept away by a flood
Of signs and signals, that mean nothing to me.
Please, a pause, a sigh, a glance, means nothing
To me. I need you to tell me what your smile means.
I can’t read your face like I should be able to.
I want you to tell me in words what this all means.
I want a moment to be real. For me.
