To Straighten and To Fold -

focused on uninterrupted wins,
ordered and measured - he is
honestly candid,
logical and with even tenor
he asserts his undiluted
conventionality,
respectfully...He says, "I am
classical, serious."
and he is directly
down the home straight.
To fold,
she bends or turns,
a flexible thing
blending,
spooning one over the another,
to lie,
one upon the other.
Folding:
pressing parts together,
arms entwined,
they make a line,
a hollow - a crease.
Enveloping:
straight folds.
They collapse.
Cease.
Hands placed together
release.
He folds his arms.
She straightens his tie.
